Elderberry Wisdom Founder was interviewed last month on KMUZ Community Radio by Haley White, Small Farms Outreach Coordinator at OSU Extension Service for Marion and Polk Counties. Haley asked some in-depth questions of Rose High Bear about the background of the Native American nonprofit, Elderberry Wisdom Farm; the work of the organization and its educational projects; and her perspectives on the importance of integrating Traditional Ecological Knowledge with Western science conservation. We also got to enjoy some laughter together during the interview and deepen awareness of the importance of culture to our gifted Elderberry Wisdom Farm staff.
